Mr. Walton’s interest in engines began while still in grade school. Initially, he was given an old car motor to tear apart and see how it worked. Mr. Walton, along with a friend, submitted a home-built steam engine in his school’s science fair, capturing first place. While in high school, Mr. Walton mastered reassembling engines, enabling them to run as designed. He earned the top grade during the three years he was enrolled in the class.

Following his father’s counsel to learn a “trade”, Mr. Walton graduated from Loma Linda University’s liberal arts school, now known as La Sierra University, and became a certified public accountant. Mr. Walton built a successful public accounting practice, which he sold in 1983 to pursue his love of sailing, along with his oldest brother.

Mr. Walton re-entered the world of accounting, first as Controller, then as Chief Financial Officer of a publicly traded wind energy company. This company manufactured, marketed, installed, and serviced wind turbines. It also developed the wind parks where those turbines were installed.

In 1987, Mr. Walton began working in the agricultural business of a family friend. This business produced table grade egg products, with ranches throughout the southwest housing 3 million birds. This vertically integrated company's operations spanned every aspect of the business, from commodity futures through the resulting end products, all of which were profit centers. It operated two commercial feed mills, supporting the ranch operations, and a fleet of 100 semi-trailer trucks, and the shop to maintain that fleet. He was also involved in the management of its breaking plant, providing further processed egg products to other food processors, ranging from ice cream to pet food.

Mr. Walton then used his accounting experience in the medical management field. He served with Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Candler Medical Group in Savannah, Georgia, Midland Odessa Medical Group in Texas, Mount Sinai Medical Group in Chicago, Illinois, and with ProMedCo of Champaign, Illinois, a local subsidiary of a publicly traded medical management company.

Committed to working with DiMora Motorcar as Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Walton is also currently working with several alternative energy companies. They are involved in developing both wind and solar energy projects in Idaho, Colorado, New Mexico, and California, with projected output exceeding 1 gigawatt.
