Sceptre Motor Car Company of Goleta, California, introduced the Sceptre at the Los Angeles Expo in May 1978 and received the top designer award. The Sceptre was the joint design venture of Alfred DiMora, Thomas McBurnie, and Ray Kenney. Tom was responsible for running day-to-day operations while Alfred and Ray created the classic designs lines of the exterior and interior of this showstopper.
