The Chief Automotive Designer for DiMora Motorcar is Rod Trenne. Using Mr. DiMora's advanced design, materials, and systems concepts as guideposts, Mr. Trenne transforms them into CAD models optimizing the aesthetic and performance objectives. He directs the production of both computer models and physical models for review, testing, and display.

Mr. Trenne brings over 15 years of experience in transportation and product design to his work at DiMora Motorcar. He is extremely well versed in the use of computer aided design/engineering/manufacturing tools (CAD/CAE/CAM) and their application to automotive design.

Mr. Trenne has been involved in future designs for Panoz Automotive. He was Design Director for the MT900 (Mosler Trenne 900 kg) Super Car. This automobile won the GTS class at the 2003 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona and took home the Daytona Sports Car of the Year award. He designed the wide body Panoz Esperante Trans-am car that won the 2002 Series Manufacturers Cup Championships.

Mr. Trenne's long list of clients includes General Motors Design, Ford Design, Elan Motor Sports, Special Projects, Inc., and Monaco Coach Corp. As Studio Engineer at Stewart Reed Design, Mr. Trenne used 3D CAD to design the retractable roof mechanism for the 2003 Ford Freestyle vehicle shown at the Detroit Auto Show.

As Senior Applications Engineer for Unigraphics Corp., Mr. Trenne enhanced parametric styling and surfacing tools. He was hand-picked by the company president as the high-level advanced application engineer for sales. As such, he participated in sales efforts at Renault, Opel, Hyundai, Isuzu, and Toyota.

As an Engineering Technician at Entech Services, he developed physical mock-up processes for prototype and pre-production for the General Motors C5 Corvette program.
